A 30 year old man from New Zealand was using a ladder as he removed ice from an evaporator in a building when he fell and was critically injured. Witnesses said the ladder was knocked with a forklift and the man fell to the floor.
This story brings a warning to both those who use a ladder and those who work around ladders. If you are using a ladder, set up cones so those walking or driving know to take extra caution. If you work around ladders, always pay extra attention so you are not the one to drive or walk into the ladder.
It takes everyone to help prevent an onsite ladder accident.
