In our blog, we are going to explore different problems you might face and how your Little Giant or Little Giant accessory can help.
In this post, we will talk about painting. Some people love painting. Others dread it. Either way your Little Giant can help make the job easier. Your articulating ladder can get to hard-to-reach places. Have a stairwell to paint? Your ladder can help. Have a tall ceiling? Your ladder can help you with that too.
If you have a large, open wall or other space you are painting, setting your ladder into scaffolding can help you get the job done more quickly and safely. To set up the scaffolding, simply slide the inner section of your ladder out and either hook the Lock Tabs together or use the Trestle Brackets, depending on the style of your ladder. Then, connect the Plank, and you are ready to go.
Here’s a video explainining the process for the Extreme. The process is the same for any ladder with Rock Locks.
Here’s a video for using scaffolding with the Alta-One (scaffolding tutorial starting at 1:30). The instructions work for any ladder with Lock Tabs.
The Fuel Tank is an accessory you can get for your Little Giant that will make your painting tasks easier. The Fuel Tank can hold a gallon of paint and has a easy carrying handle and a stand-alone base to prevent tipping so you can easily use it as a paint bucket. It also has a magnetized paint roller and brush holder to keep your tools our of the paint.
