King Kombo™ Selected as New Product of the Year at OH&S
August 28, 2019 Little Giant Ladder Systems® is honored to announce that the new King Kombo™ Industrial model has been chosen for the OH&S 2019 New Product of the Year Award for Fall Protection/Prevention. Operating on the principle of preventing injuries and saving lives, this desire for increased safety drives the innovation and product standards incorporated at Little Giant every day.
Years of data report that each day, nearly 2,000 people are injured while using a ladder. Of those individuals, 100 will suffer long-term or permanent disability; and one person will die from a ladder fall. Since seeing these statistics, the goal of Little Giant has been to decrease and ultimately eliminate ladder-related incidents through safer, more innovative products.
Making the King Kombo safe, yet productive was the primary goal, and for OH&S to recognize it as the best product of the year for fall protection and prevention is a great honor for Little Giant. The King Kombo is the first three-in-one all-access ladder. It combines a fiberglass stepladder, extension ladder and leaning ladder in one product. Not only does it have features that make tasks easier, but it also utilizes the latest safety innovations. The King Kombo integrates Ground Cue®, the patent-pending bottom-rung safety signal to help people safely descend their ladder. The protective rotating wall pad and V-bar allow the ladder user to safely work on inside and outside corners, walls and studs with greater stability.
