Today, we’ve put together a list of things not to do with your ladder. Here’s what we’ve come up with:

-Never leave a ladder unattended. When not in use, put your ladder away or lay it on the ground.

-Never set up your ladder in front of a door that is not locked or otherwise blocked.

-Never use your ladder on an uneven surface

-Never make up a job for your ladder; Use your ladder for the job it was intended

-Never “lash” ladders together to make the ladder taller

-Never use your ladder in bad weather

-Don’t skip any rungs when climbing up or down the ladder

-Don’t exceed the weight rating with your weight and the weight of your tools

-Never climb a stepladder when it’s leaning against a wall

-Don’t throw or drop the ladder

This list is large, but it’s important to remember what not to do while working on your ladder.
