Move from storage to A-frame to extension ladder configurations by pushing in the ladder's palm button.
Gently twist the Rapid Lock, and then slide the rails of the ladder to the desired size. Twist the Rapid Lock once more to lock the ladders rails in place.
The Epic's integrated Tip & Glide wheels help you move the ladder easily from job to job.
Made of ballistic nylon and steel, the Cargo Hold from Little Giant is a sturdy tool pouch that attaches to your ladder to keep tools at hand.
The Work Platform is a ladder accessory that doubles as a comfortable standing platform or work surface to hold tools, buckets and anything else your job may require.
Safety Rails extend horizontally in the stand-off position, providing extra stability, and can also be used vertically as a safe walkthrough when moving from the ladder to the roof and back again.

I have the Epic 22 with the accessory bundle, it is a safe and versatile ladder system. Leveling legs, built into the ladder for uneven ground expand the capability.
I have found the safety rails to be the best feature. The safety rails make getting on and off roofs safe and confident. Really a nice feature.
Of course the air deck is so useful to set tools and parts when working.
The accessories conveniently store on the Epic ready to deploy.
I look forward to setting up the scaffold configuration for drywall & painting.
I have ordered the Little Giant Paint Pro and added the Loot Box for extra storage.

I have a lot of ladders, some I have forgotten about and find again at properties and in storage. The Little Giant Epic is the one I now think of and reach for first.

However, I do want to let you know that the ladder is not safe to use in the position you currently have it in. You want to have the rungs facing out while you are climbing on the ladder in the extension mode. The rung caps should be facing you.

Many versatile options from this ladder. Is on heavy side but basically is three different ladder types in one package. Storing size is great for full length of ladder.

the ladder worked great for our application. We needed a tall ladder but could not get a standard extension ladder into the area because of space restraints The epic 22 fit great and were able to do the job safely.

Size refers to the ANSI definition of length. ANSI states that the size is defined by the combined length of all rail sections, with a tolerance of +/-3” on each section. Note, this does not take into account any overlap between sliding sections like those on an extension or multi-purpose ladder. This can cause a disparity in the size of the ladder versus the actual height. To determine which ladder you need, Little Giant recommends you reference maximum reach height instead of size.
The terminology for ladder duty ratings, grades, and types can sometimes be confusing. The ladder's duty rating is the maximum safe load capacity of that ladder according to ANSI standards. There are 3 types of ratings that Little Giant offers:
Type I - Made to handle everyday projects. Has a load capacity of 250 lbs.
Type IA- Designed with durability and regular use in mind. Has a load capacity of 300 lbs.
Type IAA- Built for professional performance and rugged use. Has a load capacity of 375 lbs.
Ladder specifications can be confusing due to safety regulation requirements. According to ANSI (American National Standards Institute), the ladder size is defined as the total length of each section and does not account for overlap on extension ladders. As a result, the overlapping sections reduce the total length of the ladder. When purchasing any ladder customers should pay particular attention to the maximum reach to ensure the correct product for the job.
