The Leveler

Adjustable Leg Ladder

Using a ladder outdoors has always had its challenges, but the Little Giant® Leveler™ is an adjustable leg ladder that changes that experience. Whether you work on uneven ground or set up your ladder on a staircase, the Leveler can handle it without the need for a leveling accessory. Meeting or exceeding all OSHA and ANSI standards, the Leveler is rated to hold 300 lbs. in all configurations. In its A-frame position, this adjustable leg ladder will hold 300 lbs. on both sides.

The Leveler Adjustable Leg Ladder

FEATURES

1. PATENTED RAPID LOCKS

The rapid locks adjusters on the ladder's rails allow for quick and easy height and position adjustment.

2. PALM BUTTONS

Move from storage to A-frame to extension ladder configurations by pushing in the ladder's palm buttons.

3. NON-SLIP FEET

The Leveler's sturdy, non-slip feet keep your adjustable leg ladder in place while you work. Complete your tasks with total confidence.

4. ADJUSTABLE LEG LEVELING

Uneven terrain? Not a problem. This is a ladder with adjustable legs. With the Ratchet™ leg levelers, you can adjust the ladder’s legs in seconds, allowing you to stabilize the ladder on unlevel ground. The retractable legs yield more than 7 inches of leveling adjustment.

4. SCAFFOLDING

The Leveler™ can be converted into a trestle-and-plank scaffolding system by removing the outer section of the ladder and using trestle brackets to connect the outer sections. By attaching a Plank between the two trestles, you can cover a larger workspace, helping you work faster. Trestle brackets and Plank sold separately.

FAQs
What size ladder do I need?

Size refers to the ANSI definition of length. ANSI states that the size is defined by the combined length of all rail sections, with a tolerance of +/-3” on each section. Note, this does not take into account any overlap between sliding sections like those on an extension or multi-purpose ladder. This can cause a disparity in the size of the ladder versus the actual height. To determine which ladder you need, Little Giant recommends you reference maximum reach height instead of size.

What is Duty Rating?

The terminology for ladder duty ratings, grades, and types can sometimes be confusing. The ladder's duty rating is the maximum safe load capacity of that ladder according to ANSI standardsThere are 3 types of ratings that Little Giant offers:

Type I - Made to handle everyday projects. Has a load capacity of 250 lbs.

Type IA- Designed with durability and regular use in mind. Has a load capacity of 300 lbs.

Type IAA- Built for professional performance and rugged use. Has a load capacity of 375 lbs.

What is the difference between SIZE and MAXIMUM REACH HEIGHT?

Ladder specifications can be confusing due to safety regulation requirements. According to ANSI (American National Standards Institute), the ladder size is defined as the total length of each section and does not account for overlap on extension ladders. As a result, the overlapping sections reduce the total length of the ladder. When purchasing any ladder customers should pay particular attention to the maximum reach to ensure the correct product for the job.

We used our Little Giant Leveler ladder to sand, stain, caulk (chink and check), and clear coat our log cabin home. We coudn't have done this job without the Leveler given the uneven and sloping ground. Thanks Little Giant Team! My son recently purchased one for his own home. Everyone should own a Little Giant with levelers!!! Easy, fast and safe to use.

I love this ladder!!! You can use it for so many things in door or outdoor. One review by Jesse S Fischer is saying it is impossible to get it all the way up to 26 ft with one person but that is NOT true. The ladder is not like other extension ladders as you either pull a rope or just push them out. You need to extend it out on the ground, put the base at the edge of the wall and starting at one end walk the ladder up and then move the base out until it is at the safe distance. I've done it plenty of times by myself.

The options that this ladder gives you seem like it has one for any reason you would need to use a ladder. If you are looking for just an extension ladder get an extension ladder but if you want several ladders get this one!!!

I do it all the time by myself. Set up fully extended 26 foot ladder with no help. Do u have much experience woking with ladders? You said its impossible to do by yourself. Next time try fully extending the ladder put the feet against the wall with ladder laying on ground. Now lift the end furthest from wall and as you walk towards the house lift the ladder rung by rung with feet pushed against the wall and youll find how easy it is to lift to an upright position. Then just kick the feet out 6 to 8 feet out from wall when its upright and there ya have it. Youl have just done what you call impossible. Take care good luck.

I was trying to trim the top of a bush that is on a small hill in our backyard. My wife had gotten out the 5-foot step ladder so she could trim the sides of this bush. Then she asked me to trim the top. It took several tries to locate a somewhat sturdy place for the ladder and the wife offered to hold the ladder. I am 73 years old and somewhat active and I thought while on the ladder, this is not a good idea, I could fall. After the trimming, I went straight into the house and got online to look at Little Giant. The Ratchet Levelers were exactly what I needed for that bush. Then I remembered the 3 flowering bushes along the side of our house, it was a real problem several months ago trying to reach and trim them. Then there was the tree by the gate that I had to trim in the Spring. So when you consider a ladder, think about all of all the other times a Little Giant would have made your landscaping project much safer. The Little Giant with all of the different ways to set it up to do any project and to be safe. How many times would the levelers have made a difference???
