The innovative top cap features hooks, port holes, slots and grooves to keep your materials within reach while atop the ladder.
As you climb your MightyLite, you will notice that the 3” rungs are extra-wide with treads to prevent slipping and foot fatigue. Upon reaching the top of the ladder, you can stand on the 165 square inch standing platform. This platform reduces dangerous falls and is comfortable to stand on for extended periods while working
Don’t be one of the many individuals who are injured while missing the bottom rung of the ladder. When you step on the bottom rung, Ground Cue® audibly clicks, alerting you that you have safely reached the ground.
AIRCRAFT-GRADE ALUMINUM
The MightyLite is a lightweight fiberglass stepladder that weighs 15% less than traditional fiberglass stepladders. The lightweight ladder reduces injuries associated from carrying heavy equipment. Plus, with its Hi-Viz green color, you will be able to avoid having people or objects bump into your ladder while it is in use.
The MightyLite meets or exceeds all OSHA and ANSI standards. The 4’, 5’, 6’ and 8’ models are ANSI 1A rated to hold 300 lbs. The MightyLite is also available in ANSI 1AA rating to hold 375 lbs. on our 4’, 5’, 6’ and 8’ models.

I’ve actually ordered two of these. One for work in a lab setting. It meet our site requirements and was super light and compact to move around the lab. Then I ordered one for my mom who needed a step stool for her closet. The platform ladder style gives her extra stability. Seriously considering ordering a larger size for home improvement projects. You can’t go wrong with the platform style and the weight and easy carry handle make it a 10/10.

I’m that guy standing on the very top of a standard ladder that is not a step. I decided that as I get older, I need a ladder with a platform at the top. The MightyLite is a great ladder! It’s light, but sturdy! The platform is roughly at the 6’ level and I don’t have to worry about falling off! I wasn’t sure about the last step Ground Cue. Now I’m hooked. It’s nice to know where the last step is without looking. Fits great on my truck!

I really like this ladder for its size and ease of maneuvering. It is handy for dusting the ceiling fan and painting. The bottom step click takes some getting used to, but is helpful. I’m happy with this purchase. Delivery was slow.

Size refers to the ANSI definition of length. ANSI states that the size is defined by the combined length of all rail sections, with a tolerance of +/-3” on each section. Note, this does not take into account any overlap between sliding sections like those on an extension or multi-purpose ladder. This can cause a disparity in the size of the ladder versus the actual height. To determine which ladder you need, Little Giant recommends you reference maximum reach height instead of size.
The terminology for ladder duty ratings, grades, and types can sometimes be confusing. The ladder's duty rating is the maximum safe load capacity of that ladder according to ANSI standards. There are 3 types of ratings that Little Giant offers:
Type I - Made to handle everyday projects. Has a load capacity of 250 lbs.
Type IA- Designed with durability and regular use in mind. Has a load capacity of 300 lbs.
Type IAA- Built for professional performance and rugged use. Has a load capacity of 375 lbs.
Ladder specifications can be confusing due to safety regulation requirements. According to ANSI (American National Standards Institute), the ladder size is defined as the total length of each section and does not account for overlap on extension ladders. As a result, the overlapping sections reduce the total length of the ladder. When purchasing any ladder customers should pay particular attention to the maximum reach to ensure the correct product for the job.
