I was out on a training a few weeks back talking with another of you dedicated safety pros, and heard an interesting tip. Instead of worrying about catching operators in the act of standing on the top rung or the top cap of a standard stepladder, this safety pro just inspects the top rung and top cap for signs of use. Mud, scuffs and scratches, debris . . . if he sees any up there, he knows they’ve been using it. Kind of like stepladder CSI.

I guess you can’t deny hard evidence.
