Springville, Utah, September 5, 2017 – Little Giant Ladder Systems®, the industry leader in ladder safety innovation, is holding a ladder safety training on Thursday, September 7, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio.

The numbers are shocking— today, tomorrow and every day one person will die in a ladder accident.  Every day 2,000 people are injured while using ladders; 100 suffer a long-term or permanent disability.

To combat these statistics, Little Giant and Columbus-based Industrial Products are holding an event teaching safe ladder use. Anyone interested in getting ladder safety certified is invited to attend. Attendees will also see Little Giant’s latest products, including the world’s lightest fiberglass extension ladder, and enter to win prizes and gifts. Lunch will also be provided.

“The numbers show a problem in the industry, and getting ladder safety certified will help prevent these accidents from happening,” said Ryan Moss, CEO.  “Our goal is to prevent injuries and save lives, and training people how to use their ladders is part of that.”

The event will be September 7, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. at Industrial Products, 270 Business Center Drive in Columbus, Ohio. To RSVP, email jessicag@ladders.com or call 801-489-3684.
