This aluminum multi-position ladder is ultra-versatile and durable. Set it up as a stepladder, extension ladder, staircase or 90-degree ladder. With Little Giant’s Plank*, you can also configure your ladder into trestle-and-plank scaffolding with ease.
The Super Duty meets or exceeds all OSHA and ANSI standards, and is rated Type IAA to hold 375 lbs. and in the stepladder configuration, this two-person ladder can hold up to 375 lbs. on both sides. This ladder is available in 13’, 17’ and 22’ sizes.

I ordered this ladder and was very excited aobut it.When I received my email confirmation, there was an error in the shipping address, so I called customer service right away.They immediately took care of the problem, (I wanted to make sure it wasn't delivered to my home, as it was a birthday present.) I purchased this ladder originally for work and found it to be just great when taking the maintenance projects in the building.I thought it would make doing the job easier and it sure has.I never felt so safe on a ladder in my life.At home I used my Little Giant to hang the lights on the house and this could not have gone any better.I have the model 22 and was able to reach the second story roof with no problem.Wish I would have bought this first instead of trying to cheap out with those other ladders.Probably would have been cheaper in the long run!

I first came across the Little Giant Ladder back in the early 1980's while working for a HVAC/Refrigeration installer.I could take my hand tools and the Little Giant with me on service calls.The Little Giant was all the ladder I needed.It could change for a step ladder to an extension ladder in amatter of moments and with ease.Whenever another tradesman would see the Little Giant, they would come closer for a better look, and then start to inquire about where to get one.Great product!
Size refers to the ANSI definition of length. ANSI states that the size is defined by the combined length of all rail sections, with a tolerance of +/-3” on each section. Note, this does not take into account any overlap between sliding sections like those on an extension or multi-purpose ladder. This can cause a disparity in the size of the ladder versus the actual height. To determine which ladder you need, Little Giant recommends you reference maximum reach height instead of size.
The terminology for ladder duty ratings, grades, and types can sometimes be confusing. The ladder's duty rating is the maximum safe load capacity of that ladder according to ANSI standards. There are 3 types of ratings that Little Giant offers:
Type I - Made to handle everyday projects. Has a load capacity of 250 lbs.
Type IA- Designed with durability and regular use in mind. Has a load capacity of 300 lbs.
Type IAA- Built for professional performance and rugged use. Has a load capacity of 375 lbs.
Ladder specifications can be confusing due to safety regulation requirements. According to ANSI (American National Standards Institute), the ladder size is defined as the total length of each section and does not account for overlap on extension ladders. As a result, the overlapping sections reduce the total length of the ladder. When purchasing any ladder customers should pay particular attention to the maximum reach to ensure the correct product for the job.
